Five Taz place first at Gorillas meet

Ian Ford, Aden Braun, Noah Braun, Brant Fields and Ethan Bowman of the Jamestown Taz youth wrestling team each placed first at the annual Bismarck Gorillas meet recently.

Runner-up finishers were Diontrea Anderson, Colton Mewes, Ben Matzke, Dawson Denning, Preston Dockter, Chris Erickson and Louis Kjellberg-Jones.

Dalton Darby, Talan Winstead, Sam Schlepuetz and Zechary Skari each earned third-place honors.

Placing fourth were Bryson Amyotte, Cooper Anderson, Lane Gilbertson and Luke Schlepuetz. Lucas Mimong, Devin Manson, Eli Horstad, Reece Horstad and Johnny Browning came in fifth.

The meet featured over 500 wrestlers and was held at Bismarck Century High School.
