Blue Jays’ Lind named all-West Region

Jamestown’s Alex Lind has been named to the all-West Region gymnastics team.

Lind, who was named the state’s Senior Athlete of the Year at the state meet Feb. 23 in Valley City, tied for the most votes by the coaches of any gymnast. Lind and Bismarck’s Kaylee Keller each received 67 points in voting.

Lind finished third in the all around at the state meet with a career-best 37.767.
