ND Legislature finishes first-half work
North Dakota lawmakers have finished the first half of the 2013 Legislature and are beginning a five-day break.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — North Dakota lawmakers have finished the first half of the 2013 Legislature and are beginning a five-day break.
Members of the House and Senate finished voting on bills in their respective chambers on Thursday.
Legislators will take Friday, Monday and Tuesday off. The break is called “crossover.”
The session resumes on Wednesday. Senators will begin reviewing bills that were approved by the House, and the House will work on Senate measures.
