FARGO — The March 15 Fargo show by Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall has been canceled, according to a statement the Fargodome released Friday morning.

Rob Sobolik, Fargodome general manager, said Nashville-based promoter Outback Concerts didn’t say why they pulled the plug on the date.

The show still is listed on websites for both Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall, and there is no indication other dates are cancelled.

The March 15 date would’ve been the night before Bob Seger and Kid Rock play the Dome.

“Obviously, we didn’t want to see the (Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall) show go away,” Sobolik said. We try to bring in a wide variety of shows and hate to see anything get canceled. It’s just one of those things that’s out of our control.”

Sobolik said the comedy show would’ve been set up to seat 6,000 people.

People who purchased tickets and paid with a credit card will receive an automatic refund. Those who paid with cash or check should go to the Fargodome box office to receive a refund. Ticket holders who purchased through a third party will need to contact them for a refund.

Purchasing tickets outside of InforumTix.com and the Fargodome may result in fraudulent tickets or tickets that cannot be used for entry, according to the Fargodome. These tickets will not be exchanged and/or refunded by the Fargodome and InforumTix.com.
