UND 'Spirit Campaign' fund drive goal reached

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) — The University of North Dakota Alumni Association & Foundation says it has reached its $300 million goal of the "North Dakota Spirit" campaign.

The fundraising effort began in 2005.

Officials have said the money will go toward student scholarships, a faculty endowment, program enhancement and new and renovated campus buildings and technology.
