Letter to the editor: People should have health care like Congress has

Amen to term limits. Thank you, Caroline Eli. Because, as I have written before, Congress works less than half a year, and of that time, only three hours a day is spent on the people’s business. Congress is the legislative branch of the government, and its job’s to work on bills. The president is the executive branch and does not have legislative powers, according to the U.S. Constitution. The Senate should be one term (six years) and the House three terms (six years.)

We all should have universal health care like the Congress has, and get paid for doing nothing. What a cushy job. I’m tired of the Congress Soap Opera.
