Ellendale trailed 9-5 after one quarter, but chipped away. Madilyn Bommersbach had 15 the Cardinals total.
Olivia Anderson (14) and Mikaela Long (11) led the Rebels.
Pingree-Buchanan-Kensal earned a spot in the Region 3 tournament by defeating Barnes County North, 62-43.
The Rebels, led by Morgan Thomas’ 12 points, scored 15 points or more in every quarter. Shantel Albrecht and Jordan Thomas added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
Sam Wieland led all scorers with 15 points for the Bison. Kayla Scott followed with 11.

Madison Schnabel had a game-best 23 points for the Mustangs. Kalli Scherbenske hit for 20.
Napoleon will face Linton-Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock after the Tigers got by Kidder County 38-30.
McKenna Flyberg’s 13 were the most of any team in the win for the Tigers.
