The Community Calendar publishes events, meetings and fundraisers in The Jamestown Sun at no charge. To submit an activity, email it to ksteiner@ jamestownsun.com — with “Calendar” in the subject line — or fax to 701-952-8477. Include the type of event, date, time, location (including address) and any admission fee. Provide a contact name and telephone number for verification/questions.

Public meetings

Jamestown City Council, 5 p.m., City Hall, 102 Third Ave. SE.

Jamestown Public School Board, 5:15 p.m., Thompson Community Room, 203 Second Ave. SE.

Special events

The Jamestown High School Choir, Show Choir and Blue Jazz host their annual Taco Feed and Pops Concert at the high school. Taco tickets: $8 for individual or $25 for families. Entertainment starts at 5 p.m. with vocal and instrumental performers and the JHS Jazz Band in the high school commons; Pops Concert begins at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. The concert is free.
