Christensen elected chairman of N.D. Cowboy Hall of Fame
The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame’s board of trustees has a new leader for the first time in a decade.
SAWYER, N.D. (AP) — The North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame’s board of trustees has a new leader for the first time in a decade.
The Minot Daily News reported that Paul Christensen, of Sawyer, recently was elected chairman of the group whose duties include choosing finalists each year for induction into the hall in Medora.
Christensen succeeds Bob Knudson, of Minot, who stepped down after 10 years as chairman. Christensen is an instructor at the Burdick Job Corps Center in Minot and said he’s “always been a cowboy.”
