Kids Against Hunger topic at Kiwanis
Janna Bergstedt, Kiwanis member, spoke last week at the Kiwanis meeting on the Kids Against Hunger meal packaging event held Saturday at the Buffalo Mall. The club raised $32,000 and 450 volunteers were needed. Every minute 12 children around the world die from starvation.

The club raised $32,000 and 450 volunteers were needed. Every minute 12 children around the world die from starvation. These nutritious, lifesaving meals will be sent to starving and malnourished children. She also had members taste some of the product.
Sandy Franke led the meeting with 22 members in attendance. Lt. Teresa Brecto and Tim Perkins, from the Buffalo Mall, were guests. Key Club members attending were Ashtyn Stein and Bre Carlson. Lt. Mitch Brecto led the group singing accompanied by Tim Burchill. Wes Hart collected “Happy Dollars.”
Sandy Wilhelm will introduce Blaine Schulz at Monday’s noon luncheon meeting at the Lantern Room. Schulz attended the Special Olympics in Korea recently and will tell about his time there.
