To celebrate the centennial of the march on Washington, the Jamestown branch of the American Association of University Women will be screening “Iron Jawed Angels” on March 7. “Iron Jawed Angels” is a movie based during the prime of the “Votes for Women” era in the United States. The film follows the struggles of women’s suffrage when no one was listening or willing to give women their unalienable rights which were endowed by their creator. Starting at 6:30 p.m., the Jamestown Arts Center will open its doors for a social time to allow the attendants to view the new exhibit featuring 53 pieces of art created by Shelley Bunde which depicts one woman from each county in North Dakota. At 7 p.m. following the social, the movie will begin with snacks and refreshments. All are welcome to come. For more information about AAUW go to ww.aauw.org or email aauwjamestownnd@rock etmail.com.
