Devils Lake LB in latest JC signings

Chase Johnson of Devils Lake and Austin Lambert of Harlingen, Texas have signed with the Jimmie football team.
Johnson, a 6-foot, 190-pound linebacker, earned all-East Region and all-state honors for the Firebirds.
“Chase is another player from a successful North Dakota high school program where we have enjoyed attracting players from in the past,” JC coach Shawn Frank said. “Chase is a good athlete with a high skill set which translates well to him playing linebacker for us. He is a great person who will fit very well on our campus.”
He is the son of Gerald and Kristin Johnson and plans to major pre-physical therapy at JC.
Lambert goes 5-11 and 190 pounds. He earned all-district and all-valley honors for Harlingen High School South. He profiles as a safety.
“Austin is a young man of great character and a natural leader,” Frank said. “He is a very active player who made many plays for his high school team. He plays well in space and runs well.
“We are excited that he has chosen Jamestown College as his new home.”
He is the son of Thierry and Valeska Lambert.
