Comedy
“The Real Housewives of Cricket County,” a comedy by Edgeley Lutheran Zion Church, is at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the church. Tickets are $7 at the door; no meal will be served.
Jamestown High School Show Choir and Blue Jazz Taco Feed is at 5 p.m. Monday in the high school commons. The event features tacos and music from both groups. Tickets for the taco feed are $8 for an individual and $25 for a family. A pops concert is at 7 p.m. Monday in the auditorium. There
is no admission charge.
Sonic Escape, a flute-violin-cello trio, performs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, in DeNault Auditorium in the Reiland Fine Arts Center on the campus of Jamestown College. Tickets are $15 and can be reserved through the Box Office. Jamestown Choralaires’ and Jamestown Boy’s Choir spring concert is at 7:30 p.m. April 4 and 5, at the Jamestown High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for students. Tickets are available from any choralaires member or at Looysen I Care.
The Valley City Bluegrass Association is hosting an open jam session from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Barnes County Historical Society, 315 Central Ave. N, Valley City. There is no admission charge.
Auditions for “Almost Maine,” a 2nd Act Community Theater romantic comedy production, are at 6 p.m. today and 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Center.

A screening of “Iron Jawed Angels,” as part of Women’s History Month and the 100th anniversary of the women’s suffrage march, is at 7 p.m. today at the Arts Center. There is no admission charge.
A watch for Comet PANSTARRS is at 8 p.m. Thursday, March 14, at the Rosebud Visitors Center parking lot, 250 Main St. W. Valley City. People are encouraged to bring binoculars. There is no admission charge.
Horse-drawn wagon rides will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Bunker. There is no admission charge. Free hot chocolate and popcorn will also be served.
Around Town
Wood carving with a local wood carving group is from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in the Arts Center’s Hansen Studio. There is no charge. Call Andy Kudrna at 320-5075 with questions.
A photography interest group meets from 1 to 3 p.m. the first Sunday of the month at the Hansen Arts Studio. There is no charge.
Outdoor ice skating at Meidinger, McElroy, Leapadlt and Nickeus parks is from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission charge but skaters must bring their own skates.
Sledding hill at the Bunker is available from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sunday. There is no admission charge.
Open swimming is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Jamestown High School Pool. There is no admission charge. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

National Buffalo Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and by appointment only on Sunday. Admission: $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and AAA members, $10 for a family and $1 for children ages 6 to 18.
Alfred Dickey Library hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. To access the Story Line, call 252-7464. The library is located at 105 Third St. SE.
Stutsman County Library hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The library is located at 910 Fifth St. SE.

The Ronald Reagan Minuteman Missile Historic Site near Cooperstown is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Thursday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center near Pingree is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. The refuge trail system is open daily sunrise to sunset.
Art
“She Left For Good One Time But Then Came Back,” an exhibit by Shelly Bunde, is at the Arts Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday through the month of March. There is no admission charge.
A gallery reception with Shelly Bunde is from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arts Center. There will also be a potluck featuring different hot dishes. Those interested in attending and bringing a hotdish are asked to call the Arts Center at 251-2496. There is no admission charge.
Students in the Arts After School program will have their art on display at Unison Bank through March.
