Second-ranked Cardinal Stritch of Wisconsin defeated Jamestown College 74-56 in opening-round play at the NAIA national tournament on Thursday afternoon.
The Wolves improved to 31-3, while the Jimmies ended the season at 15-19.
Jamestown College led 31-30 with an 11-0 run late in the second half, but the Wolves scored 13 of the next 14 points wrapped around both halves and never trailed again.
Mark Hoge led the Jimmies with 21 points. Jared Sutherland added 10 off the bench.
Derek Semenas topped Cardinal Stritch with 19 points. Breshion Tucker dished out six assists.
