Prairie Rose Garden meeting is Tuesday
The Prairie Rose Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 115 Third St. SE.
The Prairie Rose Garden Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 115 Third St. SE.
The club will see a special presentation of “The Philadelphia Flower Show: The world’s largest indoor horticultural exhibition.” This weekend is Jamestown’s own Home and Garden show which showcases the community’s local offerings.
Members will see many photos and videos of the event in Philadelphia. The 2013 theme is “Brilliant!” in honor of all things British.
The club is also starting a garden learning segment after the presentation from the Dakota Gardener by NDSU Extension. This meeting will teach “How to rejuvenate your old Apple Trees.”
The programs and meetings are open to the public. The hostess is Betty Brosz for this month. Afterwards, the club will have a business meeting. For further questions, contact Betty at 252-4582 or Gloria at 320-9557.
