Water providers earn certificates

In 2012, a number of area water operators fully complied with state safe drinking water act regulation requirements based on the type of water used, the size of the community, and the type of treatments applied.

In 2012, a number of area water operators fully complied with state safe drinking water act regulation requirements based on the type of water used, the size of the community, and the type of treatments applied. These operators were presented with a “Certificate of Compliance” by the North Dakota Department of Health. A letter of commendation has also been sent to their respective city council, board of directors, or system owner recognizing their efforts.

The local operators recognized for their work and resulting achievements from which the consumers benefited are: Craig Kopp, Cargill Malt; Steven Suko, Jamestown; Bradley Moser, Medina; Alice Pekarski, Montpelier; Lloyd Veil, Streeter; John Buskness, Woodworth; and Steven Huebner, Stutsman Rural Water District.
