The Blue Jays are headed to the state tournament.
Jamestown High School defeated Minot 52-43 in a state-tournament qualifying game at the West Region tournament in Bismarck on Saturday.
Kyra Dewald led the Blue Jays with 19 points, while McKayla Orr added 14. Paige Peterson posted another double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
The 17-5 Blue Jays will face West Fargo (19-3) in the opening round of the state tournament Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Bismarck Civic Center.
