Woman accused of burning son pleads not guilty
A Bismarck woman accused of burning her 31-year-old disabled son with a cigarette has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge.
BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Bismarck woman accused of burning her 31-year-old disabled son with a cigarette has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge.
Sixty-one-year-old Joyce Osterlund is charged with endangerment of a vulnerable adult. She pleaded not guilty Monday in Burleigh County Court.
The Bismarck Tribune reports that Osterlund's son told police his mother was upset because he was playing his guitar too loud.
Osterlund was charged in January.
