Damage reported in two-car crash

Almost $6,000 in damage was reported in a two-vehicle crash Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The accident happened at 4:34 p.m. in the 400 block of First Avenue South in front of Hugo’s.

Almost $6,000 in damage was reported in a two-vehicle crash Monday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened at 4:34 p.m. in the 400 block of First Avenue South in front of Hugo’s.

Rhonda M. Roaldson, 35, 1509 Ninth Ave. NE No. 2, was driving a 2004 Ford southbound on First Avenue South. Fred W. Chenze, 64, 620 Sixth Ave. NE, was driving a 2001 Chrysler car northbound on First Avenue South.

Chenze made a left-hand turn into Hugo’s parking lot and was struck by Roaldson.

No injuries were reported. Both drivers wore seat belts

Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Ford and $3,000 to the Chrysler.

Chenze was cited for left turn movement when unsafe.
