The Jamestown College softball team went 0-2 Thursday in Tucson, Ariz. The Jimmies fell to Lubbock Christian of Texas 9-0 and Baker University of Kansas 3-1.

The Jimmies fell to Lubbock Christian of Texas 9-0 and Baker University of Kansas 3-1.

The 4-4 Jimmies are off today. They play Alfred University of New York and the University of British Columbia on Saturday.

LCU 9, JC 0

Lubbock Christian notched its 27th win of the season by rolling over the Jimmies.

Jamestown College had just two hits in five innings.

It was scoreless after two, but Lubbock Christian, which was ranked No. 2 in the NAIA preseason coaches’ poll, hung eight on the board in the bottom of the third.

Rachel Ivelia and Janelle Spear had the JC hits.

No information was available on the Baker game at press time.
