Damage reported from I-94 rollover

An estimated $20,000 in damage occurred during a one-vehicle accident Wednesday, according to the Stustman County Sheriff’s Office.

An estimated $20,000 in damage occurred during a one-vehicle accident Wednesday, according to the Stustman County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident happened at 4:33 p.m. on Interstate 94 near mile marker 229.

Donald G. Allen, 51, Randolph, Texas, was driving a 2000 Ford and pulling a trailer eastbound on I-94. Allen saw a patch of ice on the road and slowed down. As Allen drove over the ice, the trailer jack-knifed and the truck and trailer entered the south ditch. The trailer disconnected from the truck and the truck rolled over one or two times and came to rest on its roof.

Allen was not injured and was wearing his seat belt.

Damage was estimated at $20,000.
