BISMARCK (AP) — Bond has been set at $2,000 for a Bismarck woman accused of leaving her two toddlers home alone.
The Bismarck Tribune reported that 26-year-old Bonnie Packineau is charged Wednesday with two counts of Class C felony child abuse or neglect.
Police said officers responded to a report last week of a 2-year-old boy who was outside his home without a coat and without supervision. Police said the only person in the home, which had its front door open, was a 3-year-old girl.
South Central District Judge Cynthia Feland prohibited Packineau from having contact with the two children unless the contact is allowed by Burleigh County Social Services.
