People charged in bank fraud scheme

MINOT (AP) — Three people are accused of stealing checks and credit cards in order to withdraw money from North Dakota banks.

MINOT (AP) — Three people are accused of stealing checks and credit cards in order to withdraw money from North Dakota banks.

Marian Janiski, Dustin Strenke and Jacob Stein are charged in federal court with bank fraud and possession of stolen mail. Strenke and Janiski are also charged with aggravated identify theft.

The defendants have pleaded not guilty to all charges.

The government has not said how much money was involved in the alleged scheme.

Trial is set for May 7.
