Man pleads guilty for role in gang fight

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty for his role in a gang fight on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

BISMARCK (AP) — A North Dakota man has pleaded guilty for his role in a gang fight on the Standing Rock Indian Reservation.

Thirty-two-year-old Joey White Eagle, of Fort Totten, is charged with assault for the April 2010 melee.

Federal court documents show that White Eagle used a metal bar or bat during the fight, which took place on the South Dakota side of the reservation.

Sentencing is scheduled for June 3 in Aberdeen, S.D.
