Jamestown announces snow removal plans

City crews will continue snow removal on emergency routes today, according to a press release from the Jamestown Engineer's Office. Snow removal in the downtown area is schedulaed to begin at 11 p.m.

City crews will continue snow removal on emergency routes today, according to a press release from the Jamestown Engineer's Office.

Snow removal in the downtown area is schedulaed to begin at 11 p.m. tonight. Snow removal in residential areas will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Jamestown and surrounding area remain in a no travel advisory that was issued at 5:55 a.m. Monday. The no travel advisory includes much of southern and western North Dakota.

The National Weather Service blizzard warning remains in effect until 7 p.m. today. Forecasts indicate wind speeds of up to 50 mph with an additional inch of snow accumulation possible.
