OSHA investigating North Dakota oil patch death
The Mountrail County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death of a worker in the western North Dakota oil patch.
STANLEY, N.D. (AP) — The Mountrail County Sheriff's Office and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death of a worker in the western North Dakota oil patch.
Authorities say 31-year-old Joshua Hoiland, of Minot, died last Thursday at an oil site south of Stanley. They say he was cleaning a truck owned by First Choice Energy Services when he was struck by a piece of equipment.
He died at the scene.
