No injuries reported in collision

An estimated $12,000 in damage occurred in a two-vehicle accident Sunday, according to the Jamestown Police Department. The accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Seventh Street Northwest and Third Avenue Northwest.

The accident occurred at 4:50 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Seventh Street Northwest and Third Avenue Northwest.

Phoenix M. Rudolph, 31, Wimbledon, N.D., was driving a 2008 Ford northbound on Third Avenue Northwest, approaching the intersection. Robert E. Fennern, 81, 519 Fourth Ave. NW, was driving a 1998 General Motors eastbound on Seventh Street Northwest with a passenger, approaching the intersection. Both vehicles arrived at the intersection at the same time and attempted to avoid the accident. Rudolph struck Fennern’s vehicle.

No one was injured and all three people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.

Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the Ford and $2,000 to the General Motors.

Fennern was cited for failed to display current registration plates.
