Two-car crash results in damages

More than $5,300 in damage resulted from a two-vehicle accident Sunday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

More than $5,300 in damage resulted from a two-vehicle accident Sunday, according to the Jamestown Police Department.

The accident happened at 11:22 a.m. in the 800 block of 20th Street Southwest next to the I-94 Clark gas station.

Carley L. Randall, 36, 614 Fourth St. NE, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet car west on 20th Street Southwest. Mark G. Dockter, 35, 518 Eighth Ave. SE, was driving a 2011 Dodge with a passenger west on 20th Street Southwest in front of Randall.

Randall struck Dockter’s vehicle after he slowed down to make a right turn into the Clark station parking lot.

No one was injured and all three people wore seat belts.

Damage was estimated at $3,000 to the Chevrolet and $2,300 to the Dodge.

Randall received a warning for proof of insurance.
