Two critically injured in rollover

A Wisconsin man and woman suffered life-threatening injuries when their vehicle rolled over on Interstate 94 Wednesday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

A Wisconsin man and woman suffered life-threatening injuries when their vehicle rolled over on Interstate 94 Wednesday, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

The accident happened at 12:05 p.m. on I-94 about 1 3/4 miles west of exit 281 in Barnes County.

A 23-year-old female and her 22-year-old male passenger were eastbound on I-94 when she drove through a portion of ice-covered roadway. The driver lost control and the vehicle spun in the median and rolled. It came to rest across the westbound lanes facing south on its wheels. The driver and passenger were both ejected from the vehicle.

The names of the driver and passenger were not released as the crash remains under investigation.
