Watford City, Bottineau ranked first in polls

The Watford City boys and the Bottineau girls remain the top-ranked teams in the state’s polls. Watford City collected nine of the 10 first-place votes in the poll, with the other vote going to fellow unbeaten LaMoure, which is ranked second.

Lisbon is tied with Richland for seventh while Steele-Dawson and New Rockford-Sheyenne were among teams receiving votes.

The Stars received all 10 first-place votes in the final girls’ poll of the season while Steele-Dawson is fourth.

Minnewaukan-Leeds is ranked fifth while Carrington is ninth and New Rockford-Sheyenne is tenth. Hazelton-Moffit-Braddock and Dakota Prairie also received votes
