Fish house deadline approaches

Anglers have until midnight Saturday to remove permanent fish houses from North Dakota waters, the state Game and Fish Department says.

BISMARCK (AP) — Anglers have until midnight Saturday to remove permanent fish houses from North Dakota waters, the state Game and Fish Department says.

Fish houses can be used after the deadline but they must be removed daily.

“Warm weather and high winds this late in winter can rapidly deteriorate ice conditions,” said Nancy Boldt, the department’s water safety coordinator.
