Session on SCORE set here May 22

Jim Boyd, vice president, Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corp. Board of Directors, is working to form a SCORE chapter in Jamestown. SCORE is a volunteer resource partner of the Small Business Administration. People are invited to attend an orientation/counselor training session. Joel Simmons, Fargo SCORE Chapter chair, and Al Haut, SBA North Dakota District Office, will be presenting. Those attending have an opportunity to learn more about SCORE and how it functions.

The session is from 9:30 to 11 a.m. May 22 in the lower level conference room at the Center for Economic Development, 120 Second St. S.E., Jamestown. 

In addition, anyone who is interested in SBA’s financing programs may participate in a lender training session from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. the same day. SBA is revamping the Small/ Rural Lender Advantage program and updates will be provided to Jamestown area lenders.
