One person sentenced on felony charge
One person was sentenced on a felony charge in Southeast District Court in Jamestown. Dylan Herbert Buerkley, Kulm, N.D., pleaded guilty to fleeing or attempting to elude police, a Class C felony.

He was accused of refusing to stop a motor vehicle when signaled to stop by police on July 1, 2006. It was his second offense in three years.
Judge Daniel D. Narum sentenced him to 6 months at the Stutsman County Correctional Center with work release after Aug. 1, followed by 18 months supervised probation and 18 months in the Department of Corrections, suspended. He is to complete Teen Challenge. He is not to possess or own firearms.
Buerkley is to pay a $300 indigent recoupment, $400 criminal administration fee, $100 defense/facility administration fee and $25 victim-witness fee.
A Class C felony is punishable by a maximum of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
