Students accepted at Jamestown College

Several local students have been accepted to Jamestown College beginning in the fall semester of 2008. Samantha Rufsvold, Gretchen Schuchard, Jenny Schuchard, Chris Walters and Alecia Willey graduated this spring from Jamestown High School. Rufsvold, the daughter of Ryan and Janelle Rufsvold, plans to major in pre-medicine at Jamestown College. The college has awarded her a Trustees Scholarship. At Jamestown High School, she has been active in band and SADD.

Rufsvold, the daughter of Ryan and Janelle Rufsvold, plans to major in pre-medicine at Jamestown College. The college has awarded her a Trustees Scholarship. At Jamestown High School, she has been active in band and SADD.

Gretchen Schuchard, the daughter of Bob and Lori Schuchard, plans to major in pre-occupational therapy.

Jenny Schuchard, the daughter of Jeffrey Schuchard, plans to major in business and play basketball for the Jimmies. She has received a Dean’s Scholarship. At Jamestown High School, she was active in basketball, volleyball, FBLA and National Honor Society and has been named a Business Student of the Month.

Walters, the son of Jim and Ray-ette Walters, plans to major in information technology. He has received a Dean’s Scholarship. At Jamestown High School, he was active in football and intramural basketball.

Willey, the daughter of Patrick and Carla Willey, plans to major in criminal justice at Jamestown College. At Jamestown High School, she was active in Spanish Club, band and choir. The college has awarded her a Heritage Scholarship.
