Lewis-Clark State wins third straight NAIA title
Lewis-Clark State wrapped up its third straight NAIA World Series championship Friday night. The Warriors, who finished the season at 58-7, defeated top-seeded Lee, Tenn., in Lewiston, Idaho.

It was the 16th national title in school history for LCSC. Tournament Most Valuable Player Brian Ward had three hits and two RBIs as the Warriors won in front of a crowd of 5,530.
The Warriors improved to 16-5 in NAIA championship games, winning three or more titles consecutively for the second time. They won five straight from 1987-92.
Lee, which was making its third Series appearance, finished the season at 63-10 and was the last team to lose in the tournament.
Reliever Matt Stabelfeld got the win for the Warriors. He entered with two outs in third and worked 3 1/3 innings, allowing just one run on three hits. Justin Mace worked the final three innings to get the save.
