Summer track set for youth

The Jamestown Parks and Recreation Department will be holding summer track meets at 5 p.m. every Wednesday night in June at Taylor Stadium. Competition age levels are 5 and under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17 and 18 and over.

The event will include 50-, 100-, 200-, 400-, 800-, 1600-meter dashes and relays as well as the run, walk, crawl, guess-your-time mile. Ribbons will be awarded for the first 5 places in each event. Ken Gardener is the meet coordinator.
