FARGO (AP) — Authorities are investigating as many as eight random assaults, attempted assaults and attempted robberies in Fargo.

Police say two men have been arrested and other “people of interest” are being sought.

Sgt. Jeff Skuza says it appears the group looked for people walking alone. He says in most cases, the victims were asked for money and drugs. No weapons were used and none of the victims required medical attention.

The suspects are from Fargo and Rochester, Minn. Skuza says one of the men also has been charged with corruption of a minor for allegedly having sex with a teenage girl picked up during the crime spree.
