City may spray for mosquitos tonight

The city of Jamestown is expected to spray for mosquitoes tonight, ac-cording to a press release from the city engineer’s office. The spraying depends on weather conditions and was also scheduled for Wednesday night in Jamestown. All spraying operations take place after 8:30 p.m. and before 6 a.m. the next day, the release said.

Parents are asked to keep children out of the streets and away from the spray machines. Motorists are asked to be cautious around the sprayer units.

The city will be spraying Anvil, which is premixed with mineral oil before being sprayed.
