Burcham receives UND scholarship

Rebecca Burcham of Montpelier, N.D., received the Alumni High Achiever Presidential Scholar Scholarship from the University of North Dakota for the 2008-2009 academic year. Burcham, daughter of Donna Van Asperen, graduated from Montpelier High School and plans to attend UND in the fall.

The scholarship is awarded to high-school seniors who rank among the top half of one percent of entering college students in the nation, based upon high school grades and ACT or SAT test results. The scholarship is funded by the UND Alumni Association and Foundation.
