Tollefson, LaMoure win 19th game

Nick Tollefson struck out eight batters and allowed just one run on two hits as LaMoure Post 19 improved to 19-3 overall with an 11-1 win over Oakes at Townsend Field on Monday.

Ben Watkins homered and drove in three runs for LaMoure, which led 9-0 after two innings. Cam Albertson and Chad Limesand also had two hits, while Donny Schrader walked four times and scored three runs. Ben Holen and Jared Pederson were both 1-for-2.

Oakes’ lone run came in the top of the sixth inning. Tollefson walked just one batter in the game. Dave Eklund had both hits for Oakes.
