A fallen tree north of town caused a power outage around 8:40 a.m. Wednesday for many Jamestown residents, said Jeff Hoff, service manager at Otter Tail Power Co.
Traffic signals along First Avenue, 10th Street, Fourth Street and Seventh Avenue were out for fewer than 10 minutes, said Sgt. Tom Nagel of the Jamestown Police Department, but it didn’t cause any traffic problems.
Some residents and businesses also experienced another outage around 4:30 p.m., but Hoff said he wasn’t sure the two were related. He said he didn’t expect more outages.
