Pond Pals, a local organization of families who water garden or keep fish ponds, presents the first of what is expected to be an annual tour, said Don Wegner, president.
The self-guided tour of eight ponds should take about 2 1/2 hours, Wegner said. Throughout James-town, about 30 families have their own ponds, Wegner said.
The cost of the tour is $5. To register and receive a map, stop by Don Wegner’s house at 1506 11th Ave. S.W., Mike Gee’s house at 1205 First Ave. N. or Don’s Garden Center in Business Loop East.
