Ruff benefit planned for Saturday
A benefit for Lydena (Henke) Ruff will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jamestown. A menu of sloppy joes, potato salad, pickles, bars and a beverage will be served for $6, with supplemental funding by Stutsman County Chapter of Thrivent.

Ruff, a widow, recently received treatment for stage 4 lung cancer with several hospitalizations including blood platelets. She hasn’t been able to work, and the proceeds of this benefit will help defray expenses in-curred while being disabled.
