Merchants split pair at Aberdeen

The Jamestown Merchants split an amateur baseball doubleheader at Aberdeen on Saturday. Aberdeen came back from three runs down to edge the Merchants 9-8 in the opener. The Merchants won a one-run decision in the second game, 4-3. Bryan Erstad had three doubles in the doubleheader, one in the opening game and two in the second contest.
