Spiritwood’s Visser places in cutting
Austin Visser of Spiritwood placed 18th in boys’ cutting at the National High School Rodeo in Farmington, New Mexico. Visser posted a score of 188 in the Wednesday morning portion of the competition.

Rebecca Chase of Hazen was eighth in girls’ cutting in the morning competition. Courtney Sletten was 10th in goat tying and Bobbie Miller of Menoken 18th in barrel racing.
In the night competition, Sletten came in fifth in goat tying. Fellow North Dakotans Justin Miller-Kraft of Carson and Rebecca Chase of Hazen placed 14th in tie-down roping and 15th in girls’ cutting, respectively.
