Ost named JPS business manager

Sally Ost was named business manager for the Jamestown Public School District by the James-town Public School Board. Ost, who has worked for Jamestown Public Schools for about 15 years, was the district’s business manager before she became the business office manager.

Sally Ost was named business manager for the Jamestown Public School District by the James-town Public School Board.

Ost, who has worked for Jamestown Public Schools for about 15 years, was the district’s business manager before she became the business office manager.

Out of about eight applicants. Superintendent Bob Toso said he recommended Ost because of her knowledge of the Jamestown school system and also her background in school finance.

The district is not looking to fill Ost’s former position at this time, Toso said.

Ost replaces Joe Sykora, who worked for the district for about 12 years.
