WEST FARGO (AP) — The owner of two apartment buildings that burned to the ground in West Fargo says the loss might total as much as $3 million.
Lowell Regstad says he plans to rebuild.
The buildings that burned had been under construction since May. The state fire marshal and a federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agent are looking into the cause of the Thursday morning blaze. No injuries were reported.
Regstad says he’s suspicious about the cause, because the building where the fire started had no mechanical or electrical systems installed yet and housed no flammable materials.
