Windfest set for weekend

The Friday steak fry will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Call 647-2252 for reservations. On Saturday there will be a city-wide rummage sale and scavenger hunt at 8:30 a.m. Then the parade will start at 10 a.m. with Deopold Herman, who is turning 100 years old, Mrs. North Dakota, the Jamestown Shrine clowns and others. There will be a corn feed right after the parade with the city band playing.

The Demolition Derby will start at 1 p.m. At 1:30 and 7 p.m. the melodrama “The Miner’s Daughter” will be performed. Starting at 3 p.m. there will be free inflatable toys for children by Kulm High School. At 8 p.m., there will be the pre-auction, Windfest raffle winner and the Mehenial Ball. At 9 p.m., the Fat Daddies will perform in a street dance on Main Street.
