Jamestown is the first North Dakota city to host an art exhibit during the event.

The public is invited to hear keynote speaker Ted Thomas, a professional artist and speaker from North Carolina. Thomas will present “Take charge. It’s your life.” at 1:30 p.m. and “Peer Support” at 3:30 Wednesday.

Exhibits and music will be provided by people and families who have experienced mental illness.

On Thursday, members of the Arts Center will offer free activities, including drumming, fish painting, book making and journaling, from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call Allen or Tammy Falk at 251-2964.
