The United Tribes International Powwow is planned in Bismarck this week. The Grand Entry is set for Thursday at Lone Star Arena on the grounds of United Tribes Technical College.
BISMARCK (AP) — The United Tribes International Powwow is planned in Bismarck this week.
The Grand Entry is set for Thursday at Lone Star Arena on the grounds of United Tribes Technical College.
The powwow attracts participants from across the country. Miss Indian Nations also is crowned during the event, which runs through Sept. 7.
Other activities include a parade, a youth day, an intertribal conference and sports events.
